Akshay Kumar is renowned for making the most films in a year and for his punctuality. Despite several box office failures, the actor has never publicly discussed his films’ underperformance or considered stopping his filmmaking. In a recent interview, choreographer and film producer Ahmed Khan shared insights into why Akshay Kumar continues to make films and how he reacts to box office failures.Khan commented, “Usko paiso ki kya zarurat? (What need does he have for money?)”
In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Ahmed Khan elaborated, “Look at Akshay’s work. Do you think he works because he needs money? What’s the need for Akshay to work? But he tells me that work is work. Every time you get an opportunity, treat it like your last job and give it your all.”
Khan added that Akshay never dwells on his failures. He focuses on whether he gave his best effort. That’s all that matters to him. He doesn’t overthink it and makes any necessary changes privately. He works hard and keeps moving forward.Ahmed Khan also praised Akshay’s punctuality. “He is punctual. If we have a roll call at 7 am, at 6:30 am I get a call saying, ‘Sir, Akshay sir’s car is here. He’s in the van, getting ready, and asking if he should come out; it’s 5 minutes to 7.’ As soon as I say, ‘Yes, is the camera ready?’ he’s there, ready to go at 7 am sharp. Success and failure don’t affect him. He’s always on time and never gets mad or makes you feel bad for making him wait.”

On the work front, Akshay was last seen alongside Tiger Shroff in ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and is gearing up for ‘Sarfira’.
