In a footage that has surfaced on the internet, where a Kerala police vehicle (a Chevrolet Tavera NEO SUV) can be seen passing under an AI camera twice. It is not known what was the exact location of the vehicle.

In the first picture which was taken during the daylight, the driver was seen wearing a seatbelt while the co-passenger wasn’t wearing one. In another picture taken later in the day, both of the police officers were not wearing their seatbelts, due to which challans were automatically issued for the offence. The challan was issued by the Kerala Motor Vehicle Department.
The video has sparked a debate on the internet with users appreciating the unbiased nature of these cameras while it will also encourage users to follow the laws as they are being constantly monitored even when there’s no human intervention.
