Now, news is trickling in that Ali plans to take a month long paternity break to give enough time to both Richa and their new-born child.A source told Hindustan Times, “Ali is going to wrap up all his work by June 30 and will then go for a break for four to five weeks to focus on Richa and their soon-to-be born kid.”
Further, revealing the status of Ali’s future projects, the source added, “Ali has four to five days of shoot left for Metro… In Dino, and Lahore 1947 is almost up for completion. As for Thug Life, he will be wrapping up the majority of his shoot before he goes on break. Only one schedule of the film will be left post that, and Ali will resume work on it in August. It will be the first film that he works on after becoming a dad. He also has another film in the pipeline, which he will begin shooting for during the same time, however the official announcement of the film is yet to be made.”
While on Ali, the actor took to social media in a recent post to remember his mother on her death anniversary. The post, filled with a mix of emotions, showcased his enduring love and the sharp pang of loss.
Fazal shared a collection of pictures featuring his mom, along with a heartfelt caption. He wrote, “I lose you every day! I wish the calendar was a never-ending number trajectory on its way up in one direction only and not in loops, like day 22,452 and so on, and we weren’t constantly stuck in loops celebrating and missing and wondering how the next year the same day will hit or land. (Effin humans and our love for owning systems, climate change maarega tum sabko)”
He further added, “Anyway, today, I thank you! For everything. I have a beautiful wife I feel at home with. I feel you awefully and scarily near me, sometimes even annoyingly. Today is a good day. I didn’t want to post pity posts on your “day she departed,” so I’m just archiving today. See you.”
Despite the grief, Fazal’s message wasn’t solely focused on loss. He channeled his emotions into gratitude, thanking his mother for “everything.” He mentioned finding solace in his wife, actress Richa Chadha, and feeling his mother’s presence close by, “sometimes even annoyingly.”
