On Saturday night, Alia Bhatt was spotted at director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office. Looked pretty in a pink and white ethnic ensemble, with face stripped of makeup, Aliawas seen waving at the paparazzi as she made an entry in her car. Alia and Sanjay have worked together in Gangubai Kathiawadi last year, which also won Alia the National Award for Best Actress, an honour she shared with Kriti Sanon for Mimi. This meeting of the two has sparked rumours that another collaboration might be in the offing soon.

While on Alia, recently the actress revealed how her father was battling alcohol addiction while facing numerous flops at the box office. She told Elle US, “He had a bunch of flops at one point; he barely had any money, and he was battling an addiction to alcohol. He eventually gave up drinking, but things were still very up and down with his life and work. My parents struggled to get to a point where I could enjoy their privilege. I do recognize that. If tomorrow I don’t do well and I stop getting films, I’ll still always acknowledge the fact that I got such great opportunities, so I can never really complain.”

Hailing her mother’s journey, Alia added, “My mother came from nowhere and didn’t know how she was going to make it. She had no connection to films and went from theaters to film studios to television studios to audition. She also couldn’t speak Hindi well, so that was difficult for her. She never became a mainstream heroine. But she worked very hard. People say you just need to work hard and you’ll make it, but that’s not true.” Alia revealed that Soni Razdan never let go of any acting offers, whether it was television, film, or theater and she believed that no job was too small.

After getting hitched to Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022, the actress welcomed daughter Raha in the same year. Speaking about motherhood, the actress had told BT, “I am still the same person, but everything is different. Motherhood brings a completely new dimension to your life. Your priorities change. The word ‘responsibility’ holds a new meaning altogether. It’s the most vulnerable you can ever feel in life. Your heart opens fully.”
