All Citroen cars to get costlier from January 2024: Expected price details

From January 2024, Citroen Indiawill be hiking the prices of cars in its entire portfolio including the C3, eC3, C3 Aircross and the C5 Aircross models. According to TOI Auto sources, this hike is primarily triggered by various market factors and to maintain the quality and competitiveness of the products. Our sources have also confirmed that the price hikes across all models will range between 2.5 to 3 percent of their ex-showroom prices.This means that those who are looking to buy aCitroen car can avail of existing prices up till December 31 or will have to pay the increased cost from January 1, 2024, onwards.

Based on the tentative price increase margins, the price hike for the C3 SUV will approximately range between Rs 18,480 to Rs 26,400. eC3 electric SUV prices will go up by Rs 34,800 to Rs 38,370 approximately. Prices for the newly launched C3 Aircross will approximately go up by Rs 29,970 to Rs 37,620 and the flagship C5 Aircross will get costlier by Rs 1.10 lakh to Rs 1.13 lakh according to estimates. These indicative prices are based on a 3 percent average price hike across variants of Citroen models.
Citroen is not the only car manufacturer that has announced a price hike from January 2024 onwards due to operational and other market factors. Earlier, MG Motor India, Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata Motors, Audi India, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Honda have also announced price hikes from next year. The increase in the price of all cars is expected to be at a standard margin of up to 3 percent across all brands.
