During an interview with Instant Bollywood, Ananya was asked about the possibility of working with Aditya Roy Kapur in one of his films.After a moment of contemplation, she expressed her interest in a light-hearted romantic comedy like ‘OK Jaanu.’ Ananya cited the fun atmosphere on the film set and highlighted the scarcity of such light-hearted rom-coms in recent times.

Further, during the conversation, she was also asked if she puts her self-worth in the hands of others, and the actress admitted being a people pleaser. She said that she tends to place her self-worth in the hands of various people, not just her partner. Acknowledging her inclination as a people-pleaser, she emphasized her desire for others, including directors, family, friends, and audiences, to perceive her positively. Recognizing this trait, she expressed the need to act upon it.
