Ranbir Kapoor‘s ‘Animal‘ has been roaring at the box office and how! The film had a phenomenal third Friday and the numbers were highter than that of the ‘Jawan‘ and ‘Gadar 2’ third Friday numbers. However, on Saturday, the numbers were slightly lower than ‘Gadar 2’s third Saturday figures though it made Rs 12 crore in Hindi and Rs 12.8 crore in all languages.
Now on Sunday, the collections saw a slight jump which is great.’Animal’ managed to have a phenomenal Sunday with a collection of about Rs 14.9 crore in all languages. On its third weekend, ‘Animal’ made about Rs 26 crores. The total collection of ‘Animal’ so far is Rs 512.84 crore nett in India, which is the domestic box office. So, while it crosses the Rs 500 crore mark in India, ‘Animal’ managed to cross Rs 800 crore worldwide.
The film still has time to make the most up till Thursday, before the release of ‘Dunki‘ and ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ on Friday. Till Thursday, it should continue to remain steady even on the weekdays. Post Thursday, the number of shows will decrease and so will the popularity as it will face competition from these two biggies! The early reports for ‘Dunki’ look decent. The film has managed to sell 45,000 tickets in its top three National chains within 24 hours, ever since the advance bookings opened.
This is now Ranbir Kapoor’s highest grossing movie.
