Animal to beat Pathaan before the year end | Hindi Movie News

Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has unleashed a beast at the box office. The film has already gone on not only to become Ranbir’s biggest hit till but also the most successful A rated film of Indian Cinema. The film clashed with Vicky Kaushal and Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur but was miles ahead of it as far as Box Office collection is concerned.And even now post the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas’s Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire, the film has managed to maintain a steady pace for itself.

The film is already in its fourth weekend and despite that and despite the clash between Dunki and Salaar which greatly reduced the number of screens, Animal managed to collect Rs 6.68 crore over the 4 day weekend as per Sacnilk. The total collection of the film now stands at around Rs 538 crore just Rs 5 crore short of beating Pathaan lifetime collection of Rs 543.09 crore, which it reached in its 9th week of showcasing.
Pathan was Shah Rukh Khan’s first release after a 4 year long gap after the debacle of Zero, which also starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The film was directed by Aanand L Rai. Pathaan is part of Aditya Chopra’s elaborate SPY Universe which also has characters like Tiger, Zoya and Kabir from Tiger franchise and War franchise.
