Apple unveiled its brand new office in the bustling heart of Bengaluru, marking a significant expansion in its commitment to India. Nestled in the Minsk Square area, surrounded by prestigious landmarks like the parliament and Chinnaswamy stadium, the 15-storey building is set to be a hub for over 1,200 employees.
Built with locally-sourced materials, native plants filling the interior, and running on 100% renewable energy, the office aims for LEED Platinum certification – the highest environmental rating. This aligns with Apple’s global commitment to carbon neutrality and renewable energy use. There is a dedicated lab space, collaboration areas, wellness facilities, and even “Caffe Macs” to foster creativity, innovation, and employee well-being. There is easy access to the Cubbon Park metro station as well.
Teams across software, hardware, services, operations, customer support, and more will work out from the new Apple office in Bengaluru.
Apple continues to expand in India
“Apple is thrilled to expand in India with our new office in the heart of Bengaluru. This dynamic city is already home to so many of our talented teams, including software engineering and hardware technologies, operations, customer support, and more. Like everything we do at Apple, this workspace is created to foster innovation, creativity, and connection. It’s an amazing space for our teams to collaborate,” said an Apple spokesperson.
Apple has been present in India for over 25 years and currently employs nearly 3,000 people. Apple has also been supporting hundreds of thousands of jobs through partnerships with Indian suppliers and initiatives like Frank Water, which empowers communities to protect their environment.
Building on its existing network in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram, Apple’s new office marks another significant step in its India journey. Last year, Apple also opened its first two retail outlets — in New Delhi and Mumbai — as well.
