Aprilia RS 457: Design
The Aprilia RS 457 is built on an aluminium perimeter frame and it takes design inspiration from the the RS 660 and the RSV4. The bike looks sharp and gets multiple cuts and creases which makes it look aggressive. It features a split LED headlamp setup with DRLs with a long visor. The fuel tank gets shrouds and the faring has vents which helps in cooling the engine and improving the aerodynamics of the bike.
Aprilia RS 457: Suspension and Braking
The Aprilia RS 457 features a preload adjustable 41mm USD front suspension with 120mm of travel. At the rear, it gets a preload adjustable mono-shock that has 130mm of travel. Braking duties are handled by 320mm front disc and 220mm rear disc components.
Aprilia RS 457: Features and tyres
The Aprilia RS 457 gets a 5.0-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlamps, taillights and indicators, three modes for traction control, ride modes, and ride-by-wire and customers can also opt for a quick-shifter. The bike gets 17-inch alloy wheels with a 110/70-section tyre at the front and a bigger 150/60 section at the rear.
Aprilia RS 457: Engine and gearbox
The Aprilia RS 457 will be powered by a liquid-cooled, four-valve-per-cylinder, DOHC engine which puts out 47 hp of power. The engine 270-degree crank and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Aprilia RS 457: Expected price
The company has not revealed any details about the pre-bookings or the launch date of the motorcycle. The pre-bookings are expected to begin in November and the prices could start from Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The Aprilia RS 457 was designed and developed at Aprilia’s headquarters in Italy.
