Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul tied the knot in January 2023 in an intimate ceremony in Khandala at Suniel Shetty‘s farm house. On the dance reality show which Suniel is judging, the latest episode was a grandparents’ special. The host Bharti Singh asked Suniel, what kind of a grandfather he would be. Reacting to it, he said, “Yes, next season when I come I will be walking on the stage like a Nana.”
Did he hint that Athiya and Rahul are expecting a baby? Well, we should hold our horses till the couple and family officially confirm the news though. But Suniel is an elated father and father-in-law ever since Athiya got married to Rahul.
Last year, the actor spoke to ETimes about his son-in-law and said,” when he rises like a phoenix you feel this is something to be inspired from and this is what the team’s tough boys are. I am a proud father. Blessed is Athiya and blessed is Ahaan because he gets to learn about from him. He is calm, composed, and very respectful. I don’t think I could have asked for a better son.”
