Arshad Warsi recently opened up about his life, career, and the movies he’s been watching lately. The actor didn’t hold back when sharing his thoughts on the Nag Ashwin directorial Kalki 2898 AD, making it clear that he wasn’t impressed.
Talking about the film in a podcast with Samdish Bhatia, Arshad first praised the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, who stars in the movie.He said, “Maine Kalki dekhi, mujhe toh nhi acchi lagi. Mujhe bahut takleef hoti hai jab (I watched Kalki. Didn’t like it. It hurts me when)… Amit ji was (mind-blown sounds) unbelievable. I can’t understand that man. I swear if we got the power he has, life ban jaae (our lives would be set). He’s unreal.”
But Arshad didn’t shy away from critiquing the movie either. He expressed disappointment over Prabhas‘ role, saying, “Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he… he was like a joker. Why? I want to see a Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. Tumne usko kya bana dia yaar. Kyu karte ho aisa mujhe nahi samajh mein aata (What have you made of it? Why do they do such things I never understand).”

Arshad was last seen in the web series Asur and Modern Love Mumbai. Fans can look forward to seeing him alongside Akshay Kumar in the upcoming Jolly LLB 3.
