Guyana: India pacer Arshdeep Singh has been in riveting form with the ball in this ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. The left-arm pacer is second in the list of highest wicket-takers with 15 scalps to his name in merely six games. With Arshdeep in red-hot form, he would be expected to come up with another good show against England in the upcoming T20 WC 2024 semi-final at Guyana on Thursday.
But while the going is good for Arshdeep, former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has raised eyebrows over his performance. Inzamam is surprised how Arshdeep is getting the ball to swing so much after 15 overs. He reckons the team is doing something to the ball, indirectly accusing Arshdeep of ball-tampering. The question now is, will ICC take this seriously and launch a probe into it?
