Ather Rizta vs TVS iQube: Price and variants
The new Ather Rizta is available in two variants – S and Z priced at Rs 1.1 lakh and 1.45 lakh, respectively (prices are introductory and ex-showroom). The TVS iQube is available in three variants – STD priced at Rs 1.1 lakh, S priced at 1.18 lakh and ST priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
Ather Rizta vs TVS iQube: Dimensions and Hardware
The Ather Rizta measures 1812 mm in length, 1140 mm in height, 1285 mm in wheelbase, 165 mm of ground clearance and has a kerb weight of 119 kg. It has a seat height of 780 mm and 400 mm water wading capacity. The EV features telescopic front forks with a mono-shock setup at the rear, braking duties are taken care of by a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear.

The iQube measures 1805 mm in length, 1140 mm in height, 645 mm in width, 1301 mm in wheelbase, 157 mm of ground clearance, a kerb weight of 118 kg and a seat height of 770 mm. Ather Rizta vs TVS iQube: Battery, electric motor and range
The Rizta is offered with two battery pack options – a 2.9kWh unit and a 3.7kWh unit. The former has an IDC range of 123km while the larger unit has a claimed IDC range of 160km. The 2.9kWh battery pack can be charged in 6.4 hours and the larger 3.7kWh battery pack takes 4.5 hours to fully charge the scooter. The Rizta gets PMSM electric motor and has a top speed of 80 kph.
The TVS iQube has two battery pack options – 3kWh and 4.5 kWh. The former offers a claimed range of 100 km and has a top speed of 78 kph while the latter has a range of 155 km and a top speed of 82 kph. The 3 kWh battery pack can be charged in 4 hours and the larger 4.5 kWh battery pack takes 4.3 hours to fully charge the scooter. The iQube gets a BLDC electric motor.

The Ather Rizta comes with a long list of features when compared to the TVS iQube. The Rizta gets a ‘DeepView’ LCD dash or TFT cluster depending upon the variant, LED lighting, two riding modes – Zip and SmartEco, reverse mode, magic twist, hill hold, traction control, a fall-safe function, skid control, combined storage space of 56 litres and more.
The TVS iQube gets a TFT instrument cluster, app connectivity with features such as geo-fencing, remote battery charge status, navigation assist, last park location, incoming call alerts/SMS alerts, under seat storage of 32 litres, regenerative braking, Amazon Alexa connectivity, two ride modes and more.
