Aussies in action: Eleanor Patterson, Rohan Browning, Kookaburras, Diamonds headline Day 9 of Comm Games


Eleanor Patterson will jump for gold on Day 9 of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Patterson will be looking to back up her world championships triumph last month, but won’t be joined in the final by compatriot Nicola Olyslagers, who had to withdrew through injury.

Oliver Hoare is in action in the 1500m, while sprinter Rohan Browning returns to the track in the 4x100m heats.

Elsewhere, the Kookaburras, Diamonds and T20 cricket teams will all be out to make their respective gold medal matches, while boxers Kaye Scott and Tina Rahimi are fighting in the semi-finals.
