India witnessed the launch of the 2023 Defender 130 in February 2023, and deliveries have recently started.
Land Rover provides two engine options for the Defender 130 in the Indian market. The first is a powerful 3.0-litre, six-cylinder petrol engine generating 399.4 hm and 550 Nm of peak torque, while the second option is a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 300 hp and 600 Nm of torque. Both engines are equipped with mild-hybrid technology and come mated to an 8-speed gearbox, with power being delivered to all four wheels.
Speaking about the interior, the luxury SUV features an 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 4-zone automatic climate control system, 14-way electrically adjustable front seats featuring heating, cooling, and memory functions, as well as a 360-degree camera.
Priced between Rs 1.30 crore and Rs 1.41 crore, ex-showroom, this off-roader is the longest Defender variant which comes with three-row seating and can seat up to eight passengers.
