‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 9 Spoilers, Including Cast

Brace yourself: An all new season of Bachelor in Paradise is about to premiere, which means we have an entire slew of spoilers to look forward to. *laughs nervously* And while we’re still a few weeks away from the show’s season 9 debut, there are already a ton of rumors to go over—starting with the completely stacked Bachelor in Paradise cast. We’ll be updating this article with more intel as it breaks, but ’til then, here are all the spoilers available on BiP season 9.

First Up: Clayton Is Not Heading to the Beach

Despite the rumors that former Bachelor Clayton Echard would once again try his shot at televised love, he set everyone straight and confirmed that, nope: He’s not going on Bachelor in Paradise. Sorry!

Also Not Going? Katie Thurston

She confirmed as much during an Insta Q&A, but here’s the thing: Katie also implied that other former leads are going. 👀

Reality Steve says “you can pretty much guarantee that Rachel is going to go on the show,” and she will be “part of the original cast because they would never bring in her later.” Steve also notes that he doesn’t think former Bachelorettes Gabby Windey or Michelle Young are taking part so….looks like Rachel might actually be the only lead going. Unless Peter Weber decides to fly in, which Steve says is a “possibility.” (help) (scared) (paging Barb)

So…Whomst Else Is Going?

🚨SPOILERS FOR CHARITY’S BACHELORETTE SEASON AHEAD🚨

Reality Steve reports that “most” of Bachelor Zach Shallcross’ contestants (at least from his top 10!) are going to be there, as well as “some” of Charity’s guys, including Sean…

That said, Steve also notes that people who get cast might not even make it on the show:

“Until you step on the sand, you are not cast. You might even leave this weekend and still not be in the original cast. They’ve had people show up there and never get on the show, they’ve had people show up there and stay in a hotel for two weeks and then get brought on. Just because someone is leaving this weekend, does not mean they’re original cast.”

P.S. Last season, 44 people showed up in Paradise, so…expect a lot of contestants to be flying in.

Filming Started on June 7

At least according to Reality Steve, who said in a May 2023 podcast episode that “Bachelor in Paradise starts filming the same time it does every year: basically the 6th/7th of June.” He added that the show will be pretty much filming the entire month, specifically “anywhere between 21 days and 24 days.”

It’s truly wild to think some couples will get engaged in that time span, but hey—it worked out for these two:

The Show Is Filming in Sayulita (ofc!)

At least, we assume it is given the fact that this is where they film every year. Bachelor in Paradise has been based at the Playa Escondida Resort in Sayulita since season 2, and the location is pretty much iconic at this point (those throw pillows have SEEN SOME THINGS) so it seems unlikely that they’ll switch things up.

The Bachelor in Paradise Premiere Date Is September 28!!!

Yep, the head honchos over at ABC have ~officially~ confirmed that Bachelor in Paradise will air on September 28 at 9 pm EST—a date that’s practically identical to last season’s, which was on September 27 and about three months after actual filming took place. Obviously, a lot can change in three months, but that’s what reunion specials are for!

Stay tuned for more updates as we get them, since there’s pretty much no way the entire season won’t be spoiled with all these cast members coming and going.
