The new Chetak houses the same 2.9kWh battery pack as the existing model but gets an IDC-certified range of 113 km on a full charge. In comparison, the Premium variant boasts an ARAI-certified range of 108 km. Since that is the claimed real-world range, it is likely that the Urbane might compromise a bit in terms of real-world range.

In terms of performance, the standard Chetak Urbane gets a top-speed of 63 kmph which is similar to the existing model. However, with the Tecpac, customers can unlock a higher top speed of 73 kmph. Apart from that, the upgrade package also includes a sport mode and features like hill-hold assist, reverse mode, and full-app connectivity. It also gets the same colour LCD instrument cluster which is available with the Premium variant.
Another thing to note is that the charging time for the Urbane has increased to 4 hours 50 min as compared to the 3 hours 50 mins it took to fully juice the battery pack of the existing model. This is because the charging rate has dropped from 800W to 650W for the new entrant.
The Chetak Urbane EV can be had in four colour options namely, the Matte Coarse Grey, Cyber White, Brooklyn Black, and Indigo Metallic.
