BART said Sunday afternoon that service on the San Francisco line has been restored, but there are “major delays” in all directions due to police activity.
BART said at 11:52 a.m. Sunday the Daly City station is closed and service has stopped between Balboa Park and Colma on the San Francisco line in all directions due to police activity.
Muni is providing bus service with service between Daly City and Balboa Park stations on buses No. 14 and No. 14R.
The incident began Sunday morning when BART said at 9:47 a.m. that service had stopped between Balboa Park and Daly City on the San Francisco line in all directions due to police activity.
At 10:02 a.m. Sunday blue line service on the San Francisco line had stopped.
All Dublin/Pleasanton bound passengers were told to board an Antioch bound train and transfer to a Berryessa train at 12th Street station. They would then transfer at Bay Fair station to a Dublin/Pleasanton train.
Service with major delays resumed Sunday afternoon.
BART is recovering from an earlier problem. Normal service has resumed on the Blue and Green Lines. There is a 20-minute delay on the San Francisco Line in all directions due to previous police activity between Balboa Park and Daly City stations.
