Belkin may launch this Apple Vision Pro accessory along with the headset

Apple’s first-ever mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro, is expected to hit the stores in the US on February 2. The company is expected to offer users a 25-minutes in-store demo of the headset to customers who will flock to the Apple Stores to buy the upcoming product. However, customers who are planning to buy the Vision Pro headset are concerned about where to place the battery pack.Accessory maker Belkin may have a solution for this problem. According to a report by Bloomberg’ s Mark Gurman, Belkin is developing a clip for the power source of the Vision Pro.
As shown by Apple, the Vision Pro is a fairly heavily constructed headset. One of the efforts that the company took to reduce the device’s weight was to attach the battery with a tether so it could be carried elsewhere on the user’s body.
Doing this reduces the physical load on the user’s head, however, it means that users need to have a pocket or a bag for the battery to be carried in, while maintaining a connection to the headset.

How Belkin may help Apple with Vision Pro

To solve the problem, Apple reportedly turned to Belkin to come up with a new accessory specifically for Vision Pro’s battery. The company’s accessory partner is apparently developing a clip for the Apple Vision Pro‘s battery.

Apart from this, the report doesn’t reveal any other details about the battery clip including its price, features and launch date. However, the report mentions that Belkin is expected to put the accessory on sale along with the Apple Vision Pro. This means Belkin’s battery clip for the Vision Pro is also expected to hit the shelves by early February.
The Vision Pro battery clip is also expected to be sold in Apple Stores. This will make the Belkin product one of the few officially sanctioned accessories for the headset.
