Bengaluru man swaps horse with electric scooter for unique baraat: Video goes viral

In yet another ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moment, a man from the region recently took the internet by a storm as he ditched the traditional horse for a more contemporary mode of transport for his unique baraat. As seen in the pictures and videos shared on social media, the man took the recently-launched Ather Rizta electric scooter for his baraat, surrounded by his cheering friends and family.
Wearing a sherwani, sunglasses and celebratory turban, the groom seems to be thoroughly enjoying his green ride – a decorated electric scooter finished in white paint scheme. As per reports, it happens to be that the groom is an Ather employee and had designed the Rizta e-scooter.
Electric vehicles have been increasingly becoming popular, especially in the two-wheeler segment. With Bengaluru being hub for two of the largest electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India, this incident further outlines the acceptance EVs have been getting lately after initially struggling to gain traction.
