Best Spoilers From Michelle Young’s ‘Bachelorette’ Season 18

0 0

Michelle Young’s journey to find love isn’t over yet! On the finale of Matt James’s season of The Bachelor, we watched Michelle leave in tears after Matt sent her home. Even the matching Mr. and Mrs. James jerseys she brought weren’t enough to save the relationship.

Luckily, it was announced on After the Final Rose that Michelle *and* Katie Thurston are the new Bachelorettes! Don’t worry, they won’t compete on the same season like Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson (lol that was cringey). Instead, they’ll each get their own season. Katie’s already getting down to the wire with her season 17 contestants and then Michelle will take over for fall’s season 18. The way I see it, these women are the real winners because LBH, being the Bachelorette > being a Bachelor contestant.

We already have a ton of info about Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette, so, if you can’t wait for it to premiere (we don’t blame you!) keep scrolling for alll the spoilers. Consider yourself warned! *cue dramatic music*

Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe are hosting

This isn’t 100 percent confirmed yet, but Reality Steve tweeted that “Kaitlyn and Tayshia will be returning to cohost Michelle’s season of the ‘Bachelorette’ when it begins filming later this month. I’ll have some filming updates, locations, and timelines in my column on Tuesday.”

Variety reporter Elizabeth Wagmeister responded to Steve’s tweet to let people know “as of this moment, no contacts have been signed” and that negotiations are “ongoing.” Reality Steve is almost never wrong, though, so we’ll see what happens.

Before this news, it was unclear if Chris Harrison would step in to host Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette following his response to the Rachael Kirkconnell racism allegations. Following the backlash he received, Chris announced he was “stepping aside for a period of time” from the franchise, but that later turned into him quitting his hosting gig after 19 years….not without a hefty sum to buy his silence, though.

Michelle’s season hasn’t filmed just yet, but it will air in the fall

Per Reality Steve, Michelle’s season hasn’t started filming yet, but is set to begin doing so at the end of this month. Michelle’s season will air this fall, giving us two back-to-back Bachelorette seasons, essentially!

But here’s some 👀 intel: According to Reality Steve, producers actually wanted Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette to start earlier after going back and forth about casting Katie, but the filming conflicted with Michelle’s classroom schedule. Ugh, she really is the best.

Michelle’s season will take place in TWO (maybe more!) locations

Michelle will be filming in Palm Springs—no, not at La Quinta, for those of you wondering—and in Minnesota. Steve says:

“Michelle’s season starts filming the end of this month in Palm Springs. I don’t believe it’s La Quinta again since they don’t have any dates blocked off for filming. But, I don’t think they’re going to be in Palm Springs long.

After Palm Springs, Michelle will film some of her season in Minnesota. They are staying at the Marquette Hotel in Minneapolis. If you go on their site, they are currently booked out from August 5th-29th and I’ve been told it’s for “Bachelorette.” So maybe this season we will see more public dates since they are staying in a major city. Kinda like anytime this show goes to a US city, we usually always see dates happen. However, I don’t think that’s the last place they’ll be. I do think overnights and final rose ceremony will be in a different location based on the fact I’m hearing filming ends almost two weeks into September.”

And of course, the Marquette Hotel is absolutely STUNNING.

There might even be a third filming location after Minneapolis, but Steve doesn’t quite have the intel yet. We’ll be staying tuned, obvi.

Normal hometown dates are back

Now that traveling (safely, of course) is an option, Steve says he’s “been told they plan on bringing back regular hometown dates this season, so they will be traveling to the guys hometowns. Which always helps since they usually do those out in public.” Ugh, I’m so excited it hurts.

Can’t wait to see Michelle on our screens again!
