Anthony, the Blue Wiggle and a founding member of the group, jokingly mentioned that sometimes he has to remind Lucia, who joined the group in 2022 at the age of 19, that he is Anthony Wiggle, not just her dad. Lucia expressed that she is having a great time working with her father and the rest of the band. Anthony shared a behind-the-scenes moment when Lucia was giving instructions to the drummer on stage, to which he responded playfully, “Luch, that’s my job.” Nonetheless, he expressed that it is fantastic to work with his daughter and that he cherishes the opportunity to get to know her as an adult. The current Wiggles band members are Anthony, Lucia, Lachy Gillespie, Simon Pryce, Tsehay Hawkins, John Pearce, Evie Ferris, and Caterina Mete. Anthony described their dynamics as always supportive and filled with laughter. Pearce, who was previously part of the pop group Justice Crew, shared that his experience in break dancing and flips has helped him with The Wiggles performances. He mentioned that the group encourages each other and has fun on stage. Pearce also gained popularity on TikTok in early 2023, with his videos going viral and receiving a positive response from audiences. The Wiggles are currently touring Australia.
