B&M brings back discontinued chocolate bar and shoppers have gone wild

Fan favourite chocolate, Milky Way Crispy Roll is making a return and shoppers can get their hands on the popular treat from budget store B&M.

Taking to its Instagram page, B&M shared the brilliant news with its shoppers with a carousel of pictures showing exactly what customers can buy – which is 6 packs of 2 rolls in a box.

Sharing the exciting news, B&M wrote: “Breaking News. Milky Way Crispy Rolls are back and we KNOW you’re all going to snap them up!

“@Newfoodsuk has sent these images over and we’re obsessed! Tag someone who needs to pick these up!”

Mars Wrigley UK, the company behind the bar, ceased its production in 2022, leaving scores of fans heartbroken.

In a statement at the time, the brand said: “While Milky Way Crispy Rolls are currently in a galaxy far, far away we’re pleased to offer many delicious alternatives such as Milky Way Magic Stars, Maltesers, Mars and, of course, the traditional Milky Way. The love for Milky Way Crispy Rolls has been out of this world and we’ve certainly taken note.”

People even created petitions online, with one getting thousands of signatures from people eager for its revival. Yet, the chances of it coming back appeared to be low.

But it seems B&M has answered calls for the bar to make a return. In the Instagram post, shoppers raced to share their excitement.

One Instagram user wrote: “This is the most elite chocolate that ever was.” A second shopper who was delighted to see the return of the rolls said: “OMG please still have them in when I go!”

Another user penned: “OH MY GOD YES GREAT NEWS!” And a fourth who had already bought some shared: “Bought 2 boxes and between the 3 of us they’re all gone.”

There was one shopper who couldn’t get hold of them when they headed to the store. They said: “I looked in 2 different stores over the weekend and neither had them.”

Another claimed the chocolate wasn’t as good as it used to be. They commented: “They don’t taste the same.”

If shoppers are wanting to get their hands on these iconic chocolate bars they will have to run to stores as stock is sure to fly off the shelves.
