The company was closely followed by BMWon second, with 971 units to its name in the month of June.
That said, the Bavarian luxury car manufacturer launched a facelift for the X5 SUV earlier this week at a starting price of Rs 93.90 lakh (ex-showroom). BMW ended the month with a market share of 0.33% with a slight growth in year-on-year sales.
Jaguar Land Rover occupied the third spot with 267 units sold in the country last month. The manufacturer gained a 0.03% market share (0.09%) as compared to June 2022 when it had sold 180 units in India. Volvo was fourth with 146 units sold, also up from the 111 cars sold in the same month last year. Volvo’s market share grew up to 0.05%.

Audi India did not close its exact sales numbers, however, the German luxury carmaker is said to have sold 119 CBU (Completely Built Unit) cars in the country last month. With the addition of Made-in-India cars, the number would certainly be higher. Porsche takes the sixth spot with a total of 41 units sold in the country in June, down from 60 units in the same month last year.
