The BMW X3 Shadow edition features a blacked-out kidney grille with blackened window graphics, roof rails, and rear tailpipes.It also gets BMW’s Laser Light headlights with blue accents. The SUV also features 19-inch M-spec alloy wheels. Customers can also choose a black edition package with a blacked-out M-spec rear spoiler, side strip graphic and an M logo on the front fender. The carbon edition package gets gear lever and door sills finished in carbon fibre.
Moving inside, the Shadow edition gets dual-tone leather upholstery finished in Mocha and Black with contrast blue stitching. Customers can also opt for the M Sport package which comes with an M-spec steering wheel, and sporty electric seats with memory function. Other features include twin 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and for instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, HUD display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 16-speaker Harmon/Kardon sound system, connected car tech, gesture control and more.
As mentioned previously, the X3 shadow edition will be offered only with a diesel engine. It’s powered by a 2.0 litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine which puts out 190 PS of power and 400 nm of torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to all four wheels. BMW claims the SUV can sprint from 0-100 kph in 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of 220 kph.
