German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz today commenced the bookings for the new GLC SUV in India. Slated to launch on August 9, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC can be booked at a token amount of Rs 1,50,000 via the official website or at authorized dealerships across the country.
Available in two variants – the GLC 300 4MATIC and the GLC 220d 4MATIC, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC will feature all-wheel 4MATIC as standard. Additionally, the GLC will be the first Mercedes-Benz SUV to be equipped with the latest NTG7 infotainment system.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLC will have larger dimensions than its predecessor, resulting in more cabin space and boot space. The SUV will be powered by ISG-assisted engines with 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission as standard. Additionally, the new GLC will also be available in AVANTGARDE line with Chrome Package and will have extended range of standard equipment.
“GLC has been Mercedes-Benz’s highest-selling SUV in India and a key SUV across all global markets. Owing to its popularity, the GLC has already created very high customer interest even before its launch, and we are excited to introduce the new model. With its larger dimensions, top-class luxury appointments, and user-focussed tech innovations, this is the most advanced GLC ever and we are confident of significantly elevating the customer experience, continuing the GLC’s success story in India,” says Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.
