“No one is supposed to know me well. I am the one who is arriving, I have to introduce myself. The more you win at Madrid, the more you have to win. There’s no rest,” Endrick said ahead of the Copa America.

He added, “The biggest difference between South America and Europe is the intensity of the game, but Palmeiras is the most European of Brazilian teams, and that will help in my adaptation.” The No. 9 jersey has been previously donned by Brazilian maestros such as Ronaldo and Tastao, and by the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison in recent times.

The 2006-born player has grown up idolising Cristiano Ronaldo, along with other Brazilians who have starred for Real Madrid, such as Eder Militao, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Jr. As per reports, he grew up in impoverished circumstances, with both his parents working for in a cafe in a Sao Paulo underground station.
