Victims, schmictims.

A recent poll shows that Britons are over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, so much so that they want the Queen to remove Harry’s title put a stop to his and Meghan’s damaging words against the Royal Family, once and for all.

Public opinion has also grown increasingly hostile to the couple, who are sick and tired of the couple’s declarations of “victimhood.”

The numbers don’t lie.

According to the poll, 44% want Harry and Meghan to lose their royal titles, and 20% more believe they should personally stop using them.

Harry’s popularity has also dipped. He is disliked by 44% of those polled, with only 31% saying they “actually like him” – down from 45% from the previous quarter.

Compare Harry to his grandmother, whose popularity is significantly higher at 76% and is disliked by 6%, and it’s clear that Britons do have an appreciation for the Queen.

Keep in mind, the poll was taken in May. Harry’s memoir announcement will likely sink those likeability numbers further and presumably more people will want Harry and Meghan to be stripped of their His/Her Royal Highness statuses.

“So far, many of the activities Harry and Meghan have been involved in since they left the UK have damaged the reputation of the monarchy and boosted their own instead,” says royal commentator Jonathan Sacerdoti.

“This memoir is likely to do the same.”

As Harry and Meghan continue to build their brand of production and publishing deals, estimated to be worth millions of dollars, it seems they’re unaware of the divide they’re creating between themselves and the royals.

It’s widely predicted that Harry’s memoir is only going to do more damage.

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

A Buckingham Palace spokesperson revealed that Harry did not have to ask his grandmother for permission to write his “accurate and wholly truthful” book, but he reportedly did give the royal family a heads-up.

The spokesperson added, “Any clarification about the book would be a question for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

Technically, anything about the book would be a question for Harry but it seems they believe Meghan will have some input.

Again, it’s one thing to have internal fights and arguments but the couple continues to publicize theirs so openly, it’s becoming easier to believe that those relationships might not be salvageable – or worse, never be repaired.

“Doubtless Harry and Meghan can do far more damage than they already have to the monarchy, by revealing more and more that the royals might prefer to be kept private,” said Sacerdoti.

“That consideration will also mean the Queen and the family have to tread carefully as well as decisively.”
