According to a report by ETV Bharat, the incident occurred in Digghi village in Vaishali, Bihar. The electric scooter was purchased a year ago for Rs 85,000 from Patna by Abhinaya Kaushal, a lawyer at Hajipur Civil Court, Vaishali.
When interviewed by the media, Abhinaya Kaushal revealed that the electric scooter had battery issues since its purchase. He also mentioned that the battery had been replaced just three days before the fire incident.

It is unknown which brand of electric scooter it was, but this incident may reignite the debate on the safety of electric two-wheelers, especially considering several similar incidents have been reported recently.
