The moment masked men assault a motorist in a random attack in Sydney’s southwest has been caught on camera as police investigations continue.
Police said a 46-year-old man was driving his black Mazda 3 on Robertson Rd, Guildford when a silver BMW i20 reportedly rammed the back of his vehicle on the afternoon of Sunday, August 13.
CCTV released by police, as seen in the video above, shows the moments immediately following the incident.

In the vision, the Mazda driver can be seen stopping his vehicle a short distance down the road.
He then got out of his car and approached two men who exited the BMW.
The Mazda driver was then kicked and punched by the two unknown men.
When he fell to the ground, they continued to assault him, police said.
The man’s phone was also stolen.
Two other men were seen exiting a black Honda Accord which had been driving behind the BMW.
One of the two men from the Honda was seen wearing a balaclava and running towards the other two vehicles before running back to his vehicle moments later.
All four unknown men returned to their vehicles and drove away.
The Mazda driver was treated by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital.
He suffered facial injuries and has since been discharged.
Police have released the CCTV hoping the four men will come forward and assist with their inquiries.
The four men were wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
