Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Chandu Champion’ is inspired by the life of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. The film also features Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, and Rajpal Yadav in significant roles. This marks Khan’s first directorial project since ’83’, which debuted during the height of the third wave of the pandemic in December 2021. ’83’, fronted by Ranveer Singh, depicted the Indian men’s cricket team’s first World Cup victory.
