A Tesla side camera has captured the moment a Triumph TR7 lost control in Ohio after a tire puncture.
It’s almost unbelievable that this wasn’t staged, given the impeccable timing of the Tesla.
According to the video posted by ViralHog, the Triumph TR7 was driving up I-70 W near Columbus, Ohio when it encountered trouble.

The video begins with the Tesla coming up the freeway overtaking an Audi A3 and a Kia Soul before reaching the classic TR7.
The tire on the convertible punctures milliseconds after it comes into frame.
The driver loses control of the convertible swaying left and right before losing control completely.
The Kia Soul behind the TR7 can be seen swerving to avoid a potential crash.
Within a few seconds, the TR7 spins out and lands on the grass next to the highway.
As the video continues, it’s hard to tell where the TR7 ended up because it falls down a steep grass ditch as the Tesla drives away.
It’s not clear the condition of the driver, but Viralhog claims the driver was okay.
Introduced in 1975, the TR7 – along with the related, V8-powered TR8 – was the last in a long line of sports cars from the British brand.
It was axed in 1981, with Triumph only producing the Honda-based Acclaim sedan until 1984 when the brand was shuttered completely.
