Cold coronavirus viruses increase immunity against sars cov 2 rp

New Delhi, November 26: A new study has emerged on the corona virus that has plagued the world for the past two years. It has been shown that colds with mild symptoms of the corona virus can be beneficial to the body (Cold coronavirus boosts SARS-CoV-2 Immunity). People who have problems like colds and flu have more strength to fight against Covid-19. Scientists claim that people who suffer from mild to moderate colds have a stronger immune system against other corona viruses. The findings are published in the journal Nature Communication. For this study, 825 samples were taken for analysis of four other corona viruses before the onset of SARS cov-2 disease. Later, intensive testing was also done on samples from 389 people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (SARS cov-2). After combining these analyzes with computer-based models, the researchers concluded that these antibodies inactivate the invading virus. It has been found that these antibodies weaken the corona virus attack in people infected with SARS-CoV-2. SARS CoV-2 causes Covid-19 disease. So, other corona viruses cause common problems like cold, flu, cough. People who had antibodies strong enough to fight the common coronavirus had a lower risk of hospitalization even after exposure to SARS-CoV-2. She said: “Our studies have shown that strong immunity against other corona viruses greatly enhances immunity against SARS-CoV-2. Thus, people who have developed immunity to the harmless corona virus also have better protection against SARS-CoV-2, a relatively serious disease.
