French manufacturer Citroen is preparing to introduce its C3 Aircross midsize SUV in India. The company has now released the fuel-efficiency numbers for its latest offering which will compete with several rivals, including Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and MG Astor.
The Citroen C3 Aircross is built on the same C-cube platform as its sibling C3 hatchback. It is equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 110 hp and 190 Nm of torque. It comes with a six-speed manual transmission. The company has stated that this engine will deliver a fuel efficiency of 18.5 km/l as certified by ARAI.
