Arushi also shared that despite visiting several shops in Delhi, including Chandni Chowk and Moti Nagar, she couldn’t find a feasible option under Rs 15,000. So, she decided to make the piece by herself. She visited the Chattarpur Phool Mandi to buy flowers for her dupatta and meticulously collected 2-meter-long flower strands by hand, using a needle and thread. In total, she created 12 strands and stitched them together in a zig-zag pattern. She also made the borders of the dupatta with Marigold flowers.
Lastly, Ayushi’s recreation was completed with a sleeveless yellow blouse and a matching tulle lehenga. Like Radhika, she wore white flower earrings, a necklace and haath phool for the inspired look.
Internet hailed Arushi’s efforts and called her recreation an ‘Art.’ One user wrote, “Wow, loved it.” Another completed, “Kudos to your efforts.” One user wrote, “The only thing we can afford of Radhika Merchant.” Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani tied the knot on July 12. The couple’s wedding was a grand ceremony attended by high-profile leaders, politicians and celebs.
