According to a report on TimesNow, Alia was conspicuously missing from the episode due to purported payment issues.Sources told the portal that the streaming giant hosting the show “could not afford Alia,” leading to her absence from the show.

It’s been alleged that guests on the show are being compensated for their appearances, unlike Kapil’s TV gig in which stars appeared to promote their new ventures. While the budget allocated for each week’s episode is described as “substantial,” it appears insufficient to accommodate both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Consequently, the makers opted to proceed with Ranbir and his family, leaving Alia out of the initial lineup.

However, fans need not fret as Alia is anticipated to grace a future episode of the show. Her absence from the episode seems to be a result of financial negotiations rather than any personal or professional discord.

Interestingly, Alia recently made her Hollywood debut with the streaming platform’s action-packed feature film ‘Heart of Stone,’ starring alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Despite opening to lukewarm reviews from critics, the film garnered attention for its staggering production budget of $150 million, making it one of Netflix’s costliest original productions.
