During a talk with the FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter a few years ago, Kapadia reflected on her youthful naivety when she first met Rajesh Khanna, a celebrated superstar. At the time, she was working on her debut film, Raj Kapoor’s Bobby. Dimple candidly shared that she naively expected Rajesh to sing songs to her like in the movies. When this didn’t happen, she felt disillusioned and heartbroken, revealing that her dreams were crushed when reality didn’t match her cinematic expectations.
