Doja Cat Criticizes Fans Amidst Boyfriend Controversy

Doja Cat faced criticism from her fans regarding her controversial boyfriend, comedian J. Cyrus. The singer went public with Cyrus last November and a photo of them kissing on a yacht in June circulated. However, several individuals came forward accusing Cyrus of grooming and sexual misconduct. Screenshots of posts allegedly written by Cyrus that seemingly referenced sexual assault were shared. In response to the criticism, Doja Cat lashed out at her fans in now-deleted Twitter and Threads posts, stating that she doesn’t care about their opinions on her personal life. She also blocked some fans and expressed discomfort with fans using her real name, Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, as their screen names. When asked to express love for her fans, she replied that she doesn’t know them. She further criticized fans who call themselves “kittens” and advised one fan to delete their account. Doja Cat has since deleted the controversial tweets and reportedly deactivated her Threads account.
