After Vogue World’s launch in New York and then its second edition in London—which included a performance by Annie Lennox and an appearance by Sienna Miller showing off her baby bump—the event has this year arrived in Paris to pay tribute to French fashion and sports.
All the top models were invited to the runway at this blockbuster event in the Place Vendôme, including Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and the Franco-Italian model Deva Cassel, who shone in a 1950s equestrian look. The Bar suit from Christian Dior’s New Look collection was an iconic style of the decade, and Cassel walked the runway in one of the five Bar suits unveiled at the show.
Given her long relationship with the maison’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, it’s no surprise to see Cassel in a Dior look—as the brand’s fashion and beauty ambassador, she is often in the front rows at shows, dressed flawlessly. (The other reason Cassel may look a little familiar? She’s the daughter of actors Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci. Talk about good genes.)
At Dior’s fall 2023 show, Cassel’s outfit nodded to the 1960s with a trench coat printed with an image of a black-and-white map of Paris. Earlier, she was also seen in another reimagined suit—a navy blue ensemble featuring a strapless button-down top and high-waisted wide-leg trousers, with a trench coat in sandy tones and black stiletto heels. The look was completed with dazzling gold earrings and Dior’s famous Saddle bag. At the spring 2023 show, she wore an ultra-sexy outfit featuring a fine lace top tucked into a maxi skirt.
