Euphoria actor Angus Cloud wrote a heartfelt tribute to his late father on social media shortly before his own untimely passing. The 25-year-old star tragically passed away at his family’s home in Oakland, as confirmed by a heart-wrenching statement from TMZ.
His grieving relatives disclosed that Cloud had been “struggling” with the recent loss of his father, who had passed away just days before his own shocking death.
Earlier this month, on his Instagram, Angus posted a photo of his father wearing a red tracksuit and wrote: “miss u breh.” The post has since been flooded with comments from fans who are paying tribute to both individuals following the news of Cloud’s unexpected passing.
In a statement to TMZ, his family stated: “With heavy hearts, we had to bid farewell to an incredible person today. Angus was special to all of us as an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son in so many ways. Last week, he laid his father to rest and was deeply affected by the loss. The only solace we have is the knowledge that Angus is now reunited with his beloved father, who was his closest companion.”
The statement continues, “Angus was open about his struggles with mental health, and we hope his passing serves as a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not face these battles in silence. We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone. We kindly ask for privacy during this time as we continue to come to terms with this devastating loss.”
Cloud also appeared in North Hollywood and The Line, in addition to making appearances in music videos by rapper Juice WRLD and artist Becky G.
