Ex-Los Angeles Lakers star and L.A. Clippers assistant coach Brian Shaw is selling his Oakland Hills mansion for $7.895 million, reports The Real Deal.

An Oakland native, Shaw and his wife, celebrity chef Nikki Shaw, designed the 9,220-square-foot home to cater to both of their interests. Features include an indoor pool, a basketball court as well as an open-concept kitchen with oversized island and taller-than-average countertops to accommodate Shaw’s 6-foot-6 frame, according to the report.

The home also touts five bedrooms and five bathrooms and 180-degree views. There is also a video game room, two in-wall fish tanks, an outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, and a fruit and vegetable garden.

Peter Monroe of Coldwell Banker Realty is the listing agent.
According to Monroe, the sale of the property would be the most expensive single-family deal in the East Bay market since 2016.

Shaw won three NBA championships with the Lakers from 2000 to 2002. As a coach, he has been an assistant for the Lakers and head coach of the Denver Nuggets and an assistant coach of the L.A. Clippers since 2021. Nikki Shaw was a finalist on the third season of “The Next Food Network Star.”
