Hyundai Creta facelift
Hyundai Motor India will launch the new avatar of their Creta SUV in the Indian market in early 2024. Spotted testing on Indian roads multiple times, the Hyundai Creta facelift will receive some major design and interior upgrades. The new Creta is likely to come equipped with a dual-screen setup and an all-black interior. In terms of design, the upcoming SUV is expected to get a new set of alloy wheels, updated LED headlamps and tail lamps, and an LED light bar.

Mahindra Thar five-door
Expected to launch in early 2024, the five-door version of the Mahindra Thar five-door will come equipped with a host of features, such as a large infotainment system, a new grille design, a new set of alloy wheels, and more. The new five-door Thar will have a longer wheelbase, adding more space for second-row passengers and the boot space. Mechanically, the Thar five-door isn’t expected to get major changes. The current-gen Thar uses a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
Tata Harrier EV
Tata Motors is likely to introduce the Harrier EV in the Indian market in late 2024. Earlier showcased in concept form at the Auto Expo 2023, the Tata Harrier EV will get a new paint theme with Bronze and White hues. To be based on Tata’s Gen 2 EV architecture, the Harrier EV is expected to be offered in a dual-motor configuration. While the company hasn’t disclosed any details yet we expect the vehicle to have a range of close to 500 km.
Kia EV9
South Korean car manufacturer Kia will bring the EV9 to India by mid-2024. Showcased as a concept at the Auto Expo 2024, the production-spec Kia EV9 has a boxy design and bold styling cues. Internationally, the Kia EV9 is available in two powertrain options – a 76.1 kWh battery on the Standard variant and a 99.8 kWh battery on the Long Range variant. According to Kia, the EV9 Long Range variant will deliver over 540 km per charge on the WLTP cycle with an 800V charging system.
Tata Curvv
Tata Motors’ much-anticipated Curvv SUV is expected to launch in India in mid-2024. The concept vehicle was showcased earlier in 2022. The Tata Curvv is expected to feature a large panoramic glass roof integrated into the rear spoiler with a coupe-like sloping roofline. Featuring triangular-designed LED headlamps and a horizontal light bar, the Tata Curvv is likely to come equipped with flush door handles, ventilated front seats and a large touchscreen infotainment system. The company is yet to reveal the mechanical details of the Curvv SUV.
