Former SAS Australia star Locky Gilbert and his wife Irena Srbinovska are expecting a baby.
The big announcement was made via a sweet video posted to Instagram on Wednesday September 20.
In the video, the camera focuses on Lochy standing on a beach, before he steps away to reveal his pregnant partner in the background, her hands on her baby belly.

“2023 has been a year of surprises, and now Locky and I are thrilled to share the biggest surprise of our lives – anticipating a new member in our family,” the pair wrote in a joint post.“As we revel in our happiness, we’re deeply sensitive to those who face the trials of infertility or have suffered loss.
“Having navigated the rollercoaster of emotions ourselves, we extend our hands and hearts to those on a similar path.
“In the midst of life’s storms, may you find your rainbow soon 🌈
“Due early 2024 🍼.”
In the accompanying video Locky can be seen kissing Irena’s tummy before they kiss and hug.
The pair met on a reality TV dating show in 2020 and married on March 10, 2023.
Irena had previously revealed to that they had suffered two miscarriages in as many years, calling Locky her “absolute rock” during that time.
The happy news that they were expecting brought a flood of comments from celebrity friends and followers.
“Congratulations! Beautiful news,” wrote Rebecca Judd.
“So incredibly happy for you both, very exciting times,” added fellow SAS Australia star Anna Heinrich, who recently announced her own pregnancy.
“Absolutely incredible. Having followed your journey from the beginning, this makes me so emotional for the two of you,” one follower wrote.
“Congratulations 🤍🤍.”
“Nothing makes me happier than seeing this!!! Congrats guys on your beautiful bubba ❤️❤️❤️,” said another.
The couple are now based in Perth and recently finished renovating their house.
In an interview with Who magazine earlier this year, Locky said he wanted to be a dad but was also “scared”.
“I can’t wait for us to do all the family stuff and from day one, our child will be strapped to a baby carrier and we’ll be out hiking and camping,” he said.
“That’s the plan, anyway!”
