Alpine F1 Team has officially announced the departure of Esteban Ocon at the end of the current Formula 1 season, following the conclusion of the French driver’s contract. This marks the end of a significant five-year tenure for Ocon with the team, highlighted by a historic victory at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix, which was both his and Alpine’s first Grand Prix win.
Ocon’s time with Alpine has seen several notable achievements.He claimed his first podium in Formula 1 with a second-place finish at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix. He added another podium this season, finishing third at the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix.
