Fortnite players may get to race Tesla Cybertrucks as part of the game’s next update.
The love-it-or-hate-it pickup truck isn’t available to buy in the UK, but it will soon be tearing up Fortnite Island – if the latest leaks are to be believed.
Introduced in late May, Season 3 – also known as Wrecked – features armed cars that can give you an advantage on the 100-player battlefield.
Tesla’s Cybertruck isn’t the only rumoured addition in update v30.30, with a world of new weapons and a long-awaited new mode.
Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Fortnite update, including its expected release date.

When is the update coming out?
Fortnite v30.30 is expected to arrive at 9am on Tuesday, July 23, in the UK.
Developer Epic Games confirmed the update’s existence on June 27 in a post on X (formerly Twitter), by which point leakers had already claimed that the developer was playtesting it ahead of its release.
This could very well be the penultimate update of Chapter 5, Season 3 (aka Wrecked). According to prominent Fortnite leaker Shiina, the season’s final update will land on August 6, followed by what is widely believed to be a Marvel superheroes-themed Season 4 on August 16.
What’s new in the update?
Epic has shared an image of spray-painted text and tyre tracks, which leakers are convinced is the Tesla Cybertruck logo, suggesting that the EV is on its way.
In addition, Battle Royale is rumoured to be getting a few new weapons and items, among them the return of the Minigun and the Med Mist healing spray.
Meanwhile, Rocket Racing could get another batch of cross-game compatible items from Rocket League, including the Peregrine TT Car Body, Hasher Wheels, Incantor Boost and Incantor Trail.
Finally, leakers are also adamant that the long-rumoured Fall Guys collaboration is coming soon.
Epic owns the battle royale platformer, which was a viral hit back in 2021, and is incorporating its assets into its game-tinkering software Unreal Editor for Fortnite so that creators can build games from it.
Prominent leakers including iFireMonkey claim Epic will go one further by introducing a Fall Guys obstacle course to Battle Royale.
