NEW DELHI: The United States has openly mocked the Russian President Vladimir Putin’s gesture of gifting a luxury Russian-made car to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
The gift, described by North Korean state media as a car “made in Russia for his personal use,” was presented to Kim by Putin, marking a symbol of deepening ties between Russia and North Korea amidst Moscow’s ongoing conflict with Ukraine. Kim Jong Un’s sister, Yo Jong, articulated the gift as a “clear demonstration of the special personal relations between the top leaders.”
