It’s a night of glitz and glamour for Hollywood’s best movies and TV shows, along with their starring celebrities, at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.
Heartthrobs from the silver screen and TV worlds, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeremy Allen White, Margot Robbie and Emma Stone, are all present in the hope of winning a trophy for their performances. Even superstar musician Taylor Swift, who’s nominated for her The Eras Tour documentary, may also be in attendance.
Comedian and Easter Sunday star Jo Koy is handling Golden Globe hosting duties this year, cracking jokes while he attempts to keep the three-hour ceremony on schedule.
It remains to be seen whether two of this year’s biggest films, Barbie and Oppenheimer, will take home the coveted Best Motion Picture award in their respective categories. The stars of both flicks, Margot Robbie and Cillian Murphy, secured an additional Best Performance nomination in their gendered groupings. But other fan favourites from this year, including Past Lives, Poor Things and Maestro could still give “Barbenheimer” a run for its money.
On the TV-side, Succession, Apple’s Ted Lasso, FX’s The Bear and Netflix’s Beef will battle it out for top spots.
Find a complete list of the winners in bold below. (These will be updated as the ceremony unfolds.)
