GST exemption on import of cancer drug dinutuximab and special medical food used in the treatment of rare diseases. Currently, the drug attracts an integrated GST of 12%. Apart from this, in the meeting of the GST Council, a consensus has been reached on giving the share of GST on the registration of vehicles to the consumer states as well. Earlier, various states ruled by opposition parties expressed concern to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the 50th meeting of the GST Council over the Centre’s decision to allow the ED to share information with the GST Network (GSTN).
