Asian Games 2023, Day 5 Highlights Updates

It was a decent outing for Indian athletes as they clinched a total of three medals at the Asian Games. India got a Gold medal in 10m pistol shooting and it was a historic day in Wushu as Roshibina Devi Naorem bagged a silver medal in the women’s 60kg sanda event. Also, there was a bronze medal claimed by Anush Agarwalla in the individual event equestrian. However, in the men’s Football round of 16 Blue Tigers suffered a defeat against Saudi Arabia by 0-2. In the Men’s Hockey event, India crushed Japan by 4-2. At the end of the day, India’s total medal tally went to 25 medals.
